We provide unbiased and bespoke engineering and design solutions and support the acquisition and operation of mission critical capacity. Our passion for solutions and improvement is matched perfectly with engineering expertise at the core of our business. We focus on new design, modifying, redesign, testing and certifying in all maritime vessels to enhance functionality and extend possible applications. Founded in 2006 by Jaap van den Hul – Kuijten and Gerrit Knol, connecting the passion for anything Maritime with seeing the need to shorten communication lines and creatively solving the fast van vast changing conditions and regulations.

BACKGROUND

Argos Engineering is formed by a group of Naval architects and Ship design experts focussed on the maritime sector. Experience in high end yachts, merchants range vessels from 15 meter up to over a 100 meter.

Argos Engineering is proud of their experienced naval architects, providing solutions and applied knowledge to enhance vessel performance across the system life cycle. These solutions include quantifying the advantages of different concepts, optimising the propeller design for a mature hull and managing stability margins for in-service ships. Our experts combine real-world experience with deep technical knowledge to provide optimal solutions.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Arranges complete documents/drawings (as built drawings, Manuals etc)
Coordinate & Supervise progress with owners’, Builders, & design activity
Review and Approve Drawings on behalf of owners/clients.
Approve Equipment and their purchase specifications
QA/QC and inspection of site works including all subcontracted items
Inspection of Incoming materials
Progress Reporting (Brief weekly report & detailed monthly progress report)
Coordinate with Builder’s production managers for timely completion of schedules
